Scripture Before Slogans

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105)

Before I inherit anyone's slogan about Scripture, I want to become the kind of reader who is corrected by it.

Not Scripture as ammunition. Scripture as lamp.
