Site note

Method

The site uses a simple evidence posture:

  • Scriptural means a claim is being drawn directly from biblical text.
  • Historical means a claim depends on dated sources, councils, authors, liturgies, or documented events.
  • Traditional means a claim is widely received in a church tradition, even when Christians dispute its authority.
  • Disputed means faithful Christians have made serious arguments on more than one side.
  • Inferred means the post is reasoning from available evidence and should be held lightly.
  • Devotional means the post is a prayerful reflection, not a settled argument.

The journey should resist polemics. Denominational differences matter, but caricatures do not help anyone love the truth.

When a post names Scripture or links to a confession, church document, article, or primary source, the post page shows source cards beside the note. Those cards are a reading aid, not a guarantee that the summary is complete.
